S.D. Smith: Ember's End
The last of the Green Ember series. I haven’t finished it yet but if it’s as good as the previous three it will be worth it. These books bring joy and simplicity while you get deeply endeared to these wily rabbits. Worth it, worth it, worth it.

C.S. Lewis: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
A classic. Worth the imagery, the story, the good. It is hard and beautiful just like all things worthwhile should be.

Sue Monk Kidd: The Book of Longings
This book opened up so many things for me. The humanity of Jesus. The power of story. The grace of imagination. Don’t know it til you try it, it’s worth it.

Fredrik Backman: Anxious People
This was one of the most brilliant and delightful reads I’ve had in a long time. Lots of plot twists and so much joy throughout.

Robin Sloane: Sourdough
Another delightful and smart read. If you’re in need of a chill.

Shel Silverstein: A Closet Full of Shoes

Mary Oliver: Upstream
Her descriptions are breathtaking. Walk with her. Learn from her. She is magic.

George MacDonald: The Princess and the Goblin
George tells a delightful story of a princess with an unlikely guide and friend. Enchanting and illuminating.

The Wilderking Trilogy: Jonathan Rogers
A wonderful tale that might feel familiar. A quick, easy, fanciful and necessary read.
